We partner with healthcare organizations to build the measurement, evaluation, and accountability frameworks that turn data into decisions and decisions into outcomes.
At Sage Health Analytics, everything we do begins with a simple belief: that healthcare leaders, providers, and patients deserve access to clear, actionable information that makes a real difference in peoples' lives.
We bring together deep healthcare expertise, rigorous analytics, and a genuine passion for improving health systems to help our partners achieve their most important goals. From the boardroom to the point of care, we build the tools and frameworks that make performance visible, accountability meaningful, and improvement sustainable.
We envision a future where healthcare organizations across Canada have the infrastructure, insight, and confidence to continuously improve. Where leaders can connect strategy to outcomes, providers can see the impact of their work, and patients receive care that is safe, timely, effective, and equitable.
This work is personal. We chose healthcare because the stakes matter. Every framework we build, every metric we design, connects back to real people receiving care. That understanding shapes everything we do.
We tell the truth the data tells. Our clients trust us because we bring honesty and rigour to every engagement, even when the findings are uncomfortable. Good decisions require honest information.
We embrace new technologies and methods not for their own sake, but because healthcare challenges demand creative solutions. From AI readiness to digital transformation, we bring innovation that serves real needs.
We don't just deliver reports. We build our partners' capacity to lead with confidence, equipping executives, directors, and managers with the tools and understanding to drive improvement long after our engagement ends.
Every KPI, every evaluation, every strategy ultimately serves the same goal: better outcomes for patients. We design our work around the people who matter most, and we never lose sight of that purpose.
The best solutions come from working alongside our clients, not above them. We build trust through transparency, listen deeply, and bring a team approach that honours the expertise in the room.
Sage Health Analytics was founded on a conviction built over 20+ years inside Canada's healthcare system: that the gap between what organizations know and what they can act on is where the most meaningful improvement happens.
Our founding team has worked at every level of the system, from provincial health authorities and government ministries to primary care networks serving hundreds of thousands of patients. We've designed provincial disease registries, built enterprise risk frameworks, led digital transformations, and published peer-reviewed research on health outcomes.
Today, we bring together healthcare leadership, advanced analytics and data science, and cloud-native AI architecture under one roof. We partner with health ministries, primary care networks, and healthcare organizations across Western Canada to build the measurement and accountability infrastructure that turns good intentions into measurable results.
A comprehensive suite of services designed to meet healthcare organizations wherever they are on their performance journey, and take them further.
Our signature offering. We design and implement structured frameworks that connect program activities to measurable outcomes, giving leaders clear line-of-sight from strategy to impact. Each PAF includes program definitions, logic models, reporting and evaluation frameworks, and implementation playbooks tailored to your context.
Multi-level performance management systems spanning board governance, executive leadership, and operational management. We translate organizational strategy into actionable KPIs with real-time dashboards, benchmarking, balanced scorecards, and structured review cadences that drive continuous improvement.
We guide healthcare organizations through strategy development and, critically, the harder work of execution. From environmental scans and stakeholder engagement through to operational priority mapping and tactical planning, we ensure strategy translates into coordinated action across the organization.
Rigorous program evaluation grounded in health services research methodology. We design evaluation strategies that measure what matters, from patient-reported outcomes (PROMs/PREMs) and clinical effectiveness to cost-effectiveness and population health impact. Our work is evidence-based and publication-ready.
We architect data strategies that bring together fragmented information systems into unified, actionable intelligence. Our team combines advanced biostatistics, machine learning, and modern BI platforms to build automated reporting pipelines, predictive models, and the information infrastructure modern healthcare demands.
Purpose-built AI and cloud solutions for healthcare. We design and implement Agentic AI systems, RAG-based intelligent assistants, governed data mesh architectures, and scalable MLOps pipelines. Our approach ensures AI adoption is responsible, governed, and aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Comprehensive risk management frameworks aligned with ISO 31000, helping organizations systematically identify, assess, and mitigate strategic, operational, stakeholder, and compliance risks. Our approach connects risk management directly to strategic planning and board governance.
We build privacy infrastructure that protects patients and enables innovation. From Privacy Impact Assessments and data sharing agreements to cybersecurity frameworks, incident response protocols, and staff training programs, we ensure your organization meets its obligations while maintaining operational agility.
Every engagement follows a structured yet flexible methodology designed to deliver lasting value, not just a final report.
We begin by deeply understanding your context: your goals, your challenges, your data landscape, and the people involved. Through stakeholder engagement and baseline assessment, we align on a shared vision for success.
We co-design solutions with your team, building frameworks, KPIs, dashboards, and processes that fit your organizational reality. Every deliverable is practical, actionable, and grounded in evidence.
We don't hand off a document and walk away. We support implementation, build capacity through training and change management, and establish the measurement systems that track progress from day one.
Continuous improvement is built into everything we deliver. We establish review cadences, build internal capability, and create the governance structures that ensure our work endures and evolves long-term.
